We took a nice long walk
through this churchyard. An unfortunate number of the dead commemorated
here seem to have died far away from home in foreign wars, but many
others had been missionaries.

wall - marked 1647. We don't know if the "LOL" is the Gaelic
equivalent of RIP or the dearly departed's initials.
