Offices are offices, much the same all around the world. This one is in Gurgaon, a
the suburb of Delhi where one of our branches is located. My boss and I had been asked to talk about our careers in the actuarial field. At left, the group is listening to his presentation.
I'm at upper-right and he whole group-photo is posed at right, with me at
center stage.
When I'm in India, I like to dress as the
locals do. In these pictures I'm wearing a salwar kameez, which is traditionally Punjabi but is now worn all over Delhi.
They're comfortable and practical; I have three of them now and sometimes wear
them in Kansas, too. |

Wednesday night arrived all too soon and it was time to go to the airport for my next destination --
Two days of meetings at the home office in Zurich after a 9-hour overnight flight. I landed at 6:30 AM and went to yet another office. Zurich
is beautiful and I hope to have time to visit its many attractions some day, but,
I must confess, it can't be half as interesting as India! |
