As usual, we were thinking alike when we decided on this destination. We’d both been to London, but not together, and it had been way too long since either of us had visited, other than Regina’s quick overnights on her trip to India. Wales? Well, we’re always up for another country, and we were in the neighborhood after all.

At right is the Tower Bridge -- one of London's many famous landmarks, as seen from another landmark, the infamous Tower of London.

A typical streetscape.
Buckingham Palace.
Regina (right) and her new pet, on Trafalgar Square. The oddly-placed steeple, seemingly on the lion's head is the spire of St. Martin-in-the-Fields.
The view from Hyde Park, with Whitehall in the background. We never got tired of the walk through Hyde Park, St. James' Park, past Buckingham Palace and over to Westminster Abbey.
